log stardate 2008. We are in uncharted territory and past the point of no return. In the previous episode's cliffhanger we left everybody bemused not least
us so without much further ado let's elaborate on it. Did we have a pregnant surrogate or was 2007 another complete write off?
The news from this seventh or was it eighth (I could never keep up!) surrogacy program in India was not quite what we had hoped for. Yes, we got a
pregnant surrogate at l-o-n-g last and yes the fetus looks healthy. So what is missing? Why the long face? Well there's 'only' one fetus, one
heartbeat. We had hoped for like multiples as the clinic had implanted nine embryos into the uterus of our surrogate which we have labeled for clarity sake
Nikki11. But knowing how we scrimped, saved, begged and prayed our way to this point was it any wonder that the news of just the one live heartbeat greeted us?
Our sights were set so low that we dare not expect or even dream of babies less we be disappointed and we have had far too many obstacles in our way thus far
We got off the starting
blocks and mother was smiling down at us. Two years before her passing she knew what the name would be should it be a girl and a more beautiful baby you will
never find which I'm sure all parents say. I left my country and my website with a single token snapshot of a baby and no explanation given of whose she
was. The emails and phone calls as a result all cry the same message, "Oh my god, she's gorgeous!"
Yes, the boy
Welcome little Daisy.

What a great book.
For the first time I have read something real and
having tired hard for our own child (married late) so heart-rending to
read. Thinking of surrogacy. Please can you send me an e-book.
