Surrogacy in Kenya is still unregulated but it is widely tolerated as a fertility treatment. There are pending regulations in the Kenyan parliament. The IN-Vitro Fertilization Act of 2014. The Act limits surrogacy in Kenya to the UK model which is altruistic surrogacy instead of commercial.
As for any foreigners successful in achieving a baby in Kenya there have been two South Africans who managed to get their babies flown home. Once your baby is born we will be putting patients in touch with a well known surrogacy law specialist. We will also case manage our patients from beginning to end as we liaise with the doctors and the surrogacy lawyer. Currently in process of starting their treatment are single males from the west.
As with everything, fate brought us to this point as way back in 2005 when we helped an individual with their surrogacy a friendship was formed and this eventually led to us tying our services with a Kenyan Clinic. We look forward to helping new patients and form new long running friendships with them.
Cost-wise it would be around $40,000 US dollars for a typical surrogacy case without using any egg donors. In the coming weeks we shall be putting out further details on our new website. In the meanwhile contact us if you wish to know more or are interested in starting your surrogacy process.
